Please share the following tips to help us eliminate litter in the first place.

1. Secure your load (stop letting things blow out the back of your truck)
2. Don’t overfill your trash can (when this happens, trash falls out of the cans and onto the road, which then blows or washes into our storm drains, marshes, and surrounding waterways)
3. Don’t over fill your dumpster (if your company’s dumpsters are regularly overflowing, then it’s time to buy another one)
4. Stop buying using single-use items. This one is the most helpful. Bring your own to-go coffee cup, shopping bag, water bottle etc.
5. Buy only what you need (and shop LOCAL), because the best way to reduce waste is by not creating it.
